Located on the shores of Newport Beach, Ocean Recovery L.L.C., a licensed treatment center, provides a therapeutic environment combined with a comprehensive drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. We aim to build a lifetime of freedom from active addiction. Additional outdoor activities are planned as part of Ocean Recovery’s fitness program includes surfing, volleyball, swimming, tennis, and other sports. Ocean Recovery incorporates meditative physical exercise routines such as yoga, tai chi, kung fu, as well as other forms of healing and balance with the ultimate goal of teaching clients to care for the whole self.
Individual Sessions: Allows the client to address underlying issues that interfere with ongoing sobriety.
Case Management: Clients meet a with case manager on a weekly basis to assess and track their progress towards meeting treatment objectives and allows for client accountability as well as family and significant other involvement.
Psychological: Education groups are provided on chemical dependency, mental and physical health issues, nutrition and diet, physical fitness, as well as eating disorders.
Relapse Prevention: Individual triggers are identified. Techniques are taught to interrupt the relapse process as well as develop healing and coping mechanisms.
Process Group: Clients are provided daily opportunities to process a variety of issues and receive guidelines and feedback from a trained therapist and their peers. Clients are able to identify and challenge problematic thought patterns and develop effective problem solving techniques. Mental health issues that impact a client’s ability to remain sober are explored.
Family and Relationship Education Group: Interpersonal skills are taught. Past and present relationship dynamics are fully explored. Family sessions are highly encouraged to enhance family communication and learn conflict resolution as well as regular updates through telecommunication to enhance family involvement in a safe setting.

Our staff is devoted to providing an innovative, creative, effective, and personalized treatment experience. The staff at Ocean Recovery is composed of licensed therapists, addiction counselors, as well as addiction medicine specialists.
Alumni Program
The Alumni of Ocean Recovery are an integral part of our complete program. We sponsor weekly evening meals and speaker meetings, where Alumni share their experience, strength, and hope with our current clients. Subsequently, we provide clients the opportunity to mix with Alumni while sharing a meal with them. Family style dinners are held to encourage conversations and interaction.
Alumni are also encouraged to attend a special weekly process group structured to address their new experiences as they continue their recovery journey.
